Mental health has been identified as an important factor in determining productivity. There is a growing body of research that supports the idea that working with people who are mentally healthy enhances workplace performance. Studies have also shown that employees who suffer from mental illness are more likely to experience absenteeism, lower job satisfaction and reduced productivity.

Mental health conditions have been with us throughout our lives, shaping each and every one of us in different ways. Some have more severe conditions that impact their day-to-day lives, while others have more subtle conditions that still impact their productivity, work-life balance, and general well-being. No two individuals are the same, and no two conditions are the same.

Mental health conditions can impact our ability to think straight, to focus, to stay calm and organized, and to carry out our usual day-to-day tasks. In many cases, mental health conditions can also lead to physical health conditions, as untreated mental health conditions can lead to emotional distress and an abuse of drugs and alcohol.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to managing and treating mental health conditions. However, there are many ways to improve work-life balance through better mental health. Some of these ways include seeking professional help, setting realistic goals and targets, sticking to a healthy diet and exercise routine, and seeking social support. By managing our mental health conditions and improving our overall productivity, we can better balance our work and personal lives.

MUTATION

Agebe Olonta Eineje

The road ahead is straight,
Passing through 'Brokenhopesville',
Inauspiciously strait,
Shadowy deceptions,
No light shines through the roof of pines,
For here, the sun is blind.

Mama said, youth' are days of light,
But mine are blight,
Nights with no endings,
Bleak as it peaks.

In the heat of  the conundrums
Friends like wax melts,
And as fiends pick on my soul,
I wet my bed with tears,

Like an incursion I feel change,

Creeping in on me,
I guess this is what you call 'mutation'

NOT LUCY, I’M LOVED LYRICS BY JONATHAN MCREYNOLDS

NOT LUCKY, I’M LOVED LYRICS
BY JONATHAN MCREYNOLDS

[Verse 1]
Maybe I succeeded a little
I jumped up from the floor to the middle
You think I want the credit, I don't
'Cause the glory ain't made for me
But I know who sits on the throne
Who makes the stage and writes the songs
And I know I couldn't do this on my own
And as much as I complain, I've seen more sunshine than rain

[Pre-Chorus]
And I could thank my lucky stars
But that's not where my blessings are
No, they come from the Father's heart
Not the sky, not chance
The truth is...

[Chorus]
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved

[Verse 2]
Today I'm in a happy place
And I know it didn't happen by mistake
I love how He wrote my life
And I love how He sees my heart
So I fall to me knees and I say that I'm grateful when every morning starts

[Pre-Chorus]
So I don't thank my lucky stars
'Cause that's not where my blessings are
No, they come from the Father's heart
Not the sky, not chance
The truth is...

[Chorus]
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
Yeah, I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved

[Post-Chorus]
From the very beginning, this life that I'm living
Was part of Your plan all along

[Pre-Chorus]
So I don't thank my lucky stars
'Cause that's not where my blessings are
No, they come from the Father's heart
Not the sky, not chance
But truth is...

[Chorus]
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved

See, I'm not lucky, I'm loved
Yeah, I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved, yeah

[Interlude]

[Bridge]
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me
For the Bible tells me..."

[Chorus]
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved
I'm not lucky, I'm loved

[Bridge]
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me
For the bible tells me so
Yeah, it tells me so"

Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"
Sing, "Yes, Jesus loves me"

[Interlude]

[Bridge 2]
I thank You for always loving me
I thank You for always loving me
I thank You for always loving me
Yeah, I thank You for always loving, loving me
The way that You love me

[Outro]
See, I don't thank my lucky stars
'Cause that's not where my blessings are
No, they come from the Father's heart
Not the sky, not chance
The truth is, I'm not lucky, I'm loved

Stand by Me by Ben E King, Lyrics

Stand by Me
When the night has come
And the land is dark
And the moon is the only light we'll see
No I won't be afraid, no I won't be afraid
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
So darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me
If the sky that we look upon
Should tumble and fall
Or the mountains should crumble to the sea
I won't cry, I won't cry, no I won't shed a tear
Just as long as you stand, stand by me
And darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh stand now by me, stand by me, stand by me-e, yeah
And darlin', darlin', stand by me, oh stand by me
Oh, stand now by me, stand by me, stand by me-e, yeah
Whenever you're in trouble won't you stand by me, oh now now stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me
Oh stand by me, stand by me

Isaiah 55 says oh
"Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.
Give ear and come to me;
hear me, that your soul may live.

I will make an everlasting covenant with you,
my faithful love promised to David.
See, I have made him a witness to the peoples,
a leader and commander of the peoples.

Surely you will summon nations you know not,
and nations that do not know you will hasten to you,
because of the Lord your God,
the Holy One of Israel,
for he has endowed you with splendor."
