VIDA (LIFE)
By: Agebe Olonta Eineje
Covering my shame with a frown;
Trying to look
serious.
I'm not always like this,
Guess you will never know me
now.
Have to walk a million miles,
I heard a step will start the
journey.
Running in my sleep; its the only world that is real to me
now.
I shouted "change" a fortnight ago,
Now I'm not sure what I
meant.
I love you, I hate you, they all sound the same to me of
late.
The world is a mixing pot I believe,
The good, the bad they are
like ginger and garlic. The aroma may not always be pleasant but a taste of both
won't kill you.
